About Me

Gary Haft began his career in the Insurance Business in Florida in 1980 and specializes in working with Retirees. He specializes in Medicare and Long Term Care Planning and works with clients on their Retirement Planning and Estate Planning Strategies.
 
Gary is a member of the National Assn of Insurance  & Financial Advisors along with the Florida Assn of Insurance & Financial Advisors, and has been on the Board of Directors of the local, NAIFA-Sawgrass Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors in Broward County FL since 1991. 
 
Gary is also a member of the American Association for Long Term Care Insurance (www.aaltci.org) .
 
In early 2003, Gary joined Howard and Ira Materetsky at the Materetsky Financial Group to improve the resources available to him in his practice of Retirement Management.
 
Gary holds life and health insurance licenses and separately, appropriate securities registrations. His designations include Certified Estate Planner (CEP) and he is a member of  the American Academy of Certified Estate Planners (AACEP).
 
Gary has been a South Florida resident since 1973 and currently lives in Coral Springs with his wife Mindy and their son Jason, who currently attends college at NYU in Manhattan.  Gary & Mindy look forward to Jason's graduation from NYU in December 2010 and will attend the graduation ceremonies in May 2011.
